Hello lovelies and happy Wednesday! To celebrate #weddingwednesday and bridal fashion week beginning this weekend, I’m excited to share a collaboration video featuring Jaclyn Jordan’s gorgeous wedding gowns!
I’m absolutely thrilled to finally reveal my latest project! I’ve been wanting to illustrate a wedding collection for so long and am happy to announce that all my new products are now published!! Everything is available in my online shop and Etsy so be sure to have a look and let me know what you think! Happy Monday, lovelies! This week is an exciting one because I’m busy working on the final touches to my new bridal & weddings collection which debuts a week from today!
This past week has been extra beautiful and romantic with bridal week coverage taking over my Instagram feed… from Marchesa to Oscar de la Renta, seeing these gorgeous gowns makes me want to get married all over again! Well maybe not the planning part but definitely the dress-up part =)
I was trying to figure out which gowns to sketch from the shows and then I came across this photo on Carolina Herrera’s Facebook page. Don’t you just love her? She’s absolutely stunning and her work is just as exquisite.
Every once in awhile she would stop by the J.Crew Collection store on Madison when I used to work there and we would be completely beside ourselves. She’s even more elegant in person and such an inspiration. If you haven’t had a chance, be sure to check out the bridal gowns from her latest collection and follow her on Instagram for behind the scenes snaps. Trust me, it’s so worth it!
I’m still here, I promise! This past month and the one ahead are all about prepping for the big day… every weekend from here on out is packed with to-do’s and celebrations! Exciting, but tiring and I’m afraid my poor blog has taken the brunt of the neglect =/ I wanted to keep you all in the loop with an instagram recap… thank you so much for checking back in and hang in there, I hope to be drawing again soon!!
The past three weeks in review…
From left to right, top to bottom:

2. Tea pot cake at my bridal shower
3. “Just Married” and “I Do” dish towels from Mom
4. Gorgeous flowers from the shower
5. Vintage photos of my Grandmother, the top two are from her wedding day
6. Bachelorette girls weekend with my BFF of 23 years included Ladurée (of course!)
7. A trip to Bergdorf’s was also a must

These sweet treats from the bridal shower were amazing… the hostess and dear family friend, Sue outdid herself! Marie Antoinette would have been jealous!! =)
