Hello Lovelies! This past weekend, I stopped by my talented friend Jaclyn Jordan’s presentation of her Fall 2018 collection at Bridal Fashion Week. I brought along my markers and drawing supplies to capture some of my favorite gowns!
Happy weekend, lovelies! New York Fashion Week is always a busy time because there is so much inspiration and this season was no exception! Maybe it was the beautiful white forest backdrop or how slowly each model navigated the wintery set, but something about the Delpozo show on Thursday was absolutely enchanting. I’m usually drawn to feminine silhouettes and graceful details but Delpozo’s looks were so intricate and the shapes wonderfully exaggerated, I just had to draw my favorites!
From left to right, Look 35, Look 4, and Look 32. The beading detail and knitwear effects were stunning… and so much fun to render! Did you have any favorites from New York Fashion Week?? I wonder if we’ll see any Oscar gowns straight off the runways…
I’m off to Sunday brunch, then perhaps a quick trip to H&M to see Miss Ladyfinger in Time Square doing nails for the award show tonight. Maybe I’ll see you there!
Aside from the gorgeous clothes, makeup, hair, and flashing lights… New York Fashion Week is all about the models. Suddenly the city is filled with them and you know that fashion week is upon us.
I found this face study I did of Karlie Kloss awhile back that never made it to the blog and thought it was fitting for a fashion week post. This girl’s got some serious staying power… and she’s not about to let up yet! Happy NYFW everyone!!
