It’s been a long time coming but I didn’t want the year to end without a proper Spring 2018 fashion month recap! During fashion month I was crazy busy with work and travel during the week and then events on the weekends and ended up having a lot less free time to sketch my favorite runway looks. But I’m all caught up now and have immortalized my favorites and turned them into art. Without further ado, here are close ups of all my sketches! Let me know what you think in the comments below =)
Happy weekend, lovelies! New York Fashion Week is always a busy time because there is so much inspiration and this season was no exception! I was happy to be invited to a few shows and of course loved watching some of my favorites online and sketching them as they came down the runway (Snapping and Instagramming of course!)…
The gala to end all galas happened last night in New York City… the Costume Institute’s annual Met Gala hosted by Anna Wintour. It was a fashion frenzy and no one really knew what to expect with this year’s theme, Manus x Machina : Fashion in an Age of Technology…
How gorgeous was Marchesa’s Resort collection? If you missed it, you can find all the looks here. I follow them on Instagram and love seeing up close garment details and inspiration behind the line! I picked my three favorite “casual sunday brunch” looks and had so much fun rendering the details… meet my Marchesa triplets!
After a short work day, I’m off to the beach to enjoy some sunshine! Hope you have a fabulous holiday weekend!!
