The streets and runways of Paris have been undeniably gorgeous over the past week. My Instagram feed is chock full of amazing fashion and I can’t seem to get enough of it! I realized I never posted the finished illustration of Carolina Herrera’s final look from NYFW on the blog… so here she is! I was so excited to receive an e-mail from the team at Carolina Herrera last week. They saw my post on Instagram and wanted to feature me on their social media! Of course I jumped at the chance and on Friday, they posted a fabulous video on Instagram of fashion illustrations inspired by their Fall 2015 runway show. I was thrilled to be included with so many talented fashion illustrators!

A new month! This week marks my third official week since leaving my full time job. Over the first week and a half, I was getting into a great little groove, finding a new daily routine, working on projects, discovering podcasts (Stuff You Should Know = Amazing.) Life was grand… then I got caught off guard with a yucky cold last week. Thankfully it didn’t last long and after a few days of recovery and several Kleenex boxes later, I’m back to work towards a very exciting weekend coming up!

So a lot has happened recently (we moved!) which is why I’ve been absent from the blog… and a lot is still coming up because we are going on our honeymoon to Italy in a matter of days! But I just wanted to let you know that I’m still here… still drawing (some commissions are in the works that I can’t wait to share!) and I am looking forward to coming back from our vacation refreshed and ready to start up again.
I’m still here, I promise! This past month and the one ahead are all about prepping for the big day… every weekend from here on out is packed with to-do’s and celebrations!
