Happy weekend lovelies! I have some exciting news to share on the shop front. I’ve recently partnered with Casetify (a leading phone case manufacturer who prints on transparent cases so your golden iPhone can shine through!) and am now offering for the first time ever some of my favorite illustrations on cell phone cases.
It was so much fun choosing which illustrations to feature and I will definitely be adding more to my Casetify shop soon. If you have an illustration in mind that you’d love to see on a phone case, iPad cover, etc. let me know! I hope you have a fabulous Saturday and happy phone case shopping =)
P.S. – Thanks so much to the Marchesa team for featuring my illustration of their gorgeous clutch on Instagram! And a happy welcome to my new Insta followers, I can’t wait to share my journey with you!!
Erin Fetherston’s Spring 2015 show was a dream… ladylike looks in lamé, brocade, eyelet, and lace; sheer layers, floral patterns, pops of yellow… it couldn’t be any more beautiful. Some of the shots I took from the end of the runway:
Here’s a quick video clip of the final walk… I would wear every piece!
With fashion month coming to an end, I’m ready to start thinking full on fall! Here’s hoping it’s fall-like where you are =)
This past week has been both crazy busy and super exciting! I definitely needed the weekend so I could catch up on all my drawings. It feels amazing to have so many things inspiring me to sketch and I can’t wait to share them all with you…
I was fortunate enough to get chosen by the Would You Rock This team to attend the Spring 2015 Anna Sui show at Lincoln Center on Wednesday! In exchange for tickets to the show, I sketched my favorite looks from the new collection…
The show was beautiful… Anna’s signature boho prints and colors were on full display and you could tell she was in her absolute element. Many of the pieces had an iridescent or lamé sheen to them and the models seemed to glow from the runway (so much so it was difficult to get photos!) It was an amazing opportunity to attend the show and I was so excited to get back to my little studio and start drawing my favorite looks! Here’s a quick Instagram clip of the final walk:
Be sure to check out my feature on the Would You Rock This Facebook page and stay tuned for more runway inspired sketches and photos from New York Fashion Week!
Since I’m slowly starting to get back into the swing of things, I’ve been looking to my favorite blogs for inspiration. I’ve been following Jessica of Bows & Sequins for probably over a year now. She has a great sense of style and exudes excitement for fashion and girly-girl fun through her blog. Plus, she’s super hilarious and types how she thinks which makes me literally laugh out loud.
A blogger inspired post was just the thing to get me back into my little window studio. (Will share pics later of my new space once it’s completely set up!) I love a great fashion find for a bargain and Jessica narrates the story of her super steal on this beautiful Valentino dress. Be sure to head on over to her blog and read this post. Thanks, Jessica for being an inspiration!
Shameless self promotion here: this lovely little print is available for sale now, in my Etsy shop! These pretty blue vases (inspired by a vintage find) are making their blog debut because I’ve been too busy getting ready to leave and haven’t had a moment to sit down at my desk.
And on top of it all, I have a nasty head cold that just won’t quit… it always seems to catch up with me right before I take a vacation. =( On that note, the shop will stay open while I’m away but all orders placed between now and August 18th will be filled on August 19th when I return.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy rest of your week, I’m just hoping I’ll feel 100% after a little rest and relaxation!
