Happy October! I know I’m late to ring in the new month… nearly a half month late, yikes! My fashion design day job has literally taken over my life the past couple weeks and I just now had a moment to decompress from the stress and sketch some pretty things!
And the perfect way to celebrate the *half way point of a* new month? Sketching a chic fall transitional look by Ania B! After the lovely model/blogger wrote a sweet comment on my last Instagram post, I went over to check out her site and found a beautiful, of-the-moment fashion, and personal style blog. You should definitely have a look for yourself!
It’s so great making connections over Instagram and I love making new blog friends. Thanks, Ania for being this week’s blogger inspiration!
Happy September! I hope you’re spending this beautiful labor day not laboring! =) I’ve been in my little corner studio with the lovely sun shining though my window sketching away… I’m so grateful to have the day off and am able to relax and spend some time drawing.
I’ve also been catching up with some of my favorite blogs on my Bloglovin feed and came across this look by Wendy of Wendy’s Lookbook. She is always pulled together, not to mention she’s absolutely gorgeous (and could probably never not look amazing), but she is especially good at those transitional looks. And I will definitely be looking to her for fall outfit inspiration (and pining after that Celine bag)!
Fall fashion week is right around the corner which means infinite sketching possibilities will be exploding on my instagram feed… there’s such an energy in New York during that week and the shows are great to watch (even if it is only on your computer screen!) Stay tuned for more sketches and happy fashion month!
Since I’m slowly starting to get back into the swing of things, I’ve been looking to my favorite blogs for inspiration. I’ve been following Jessica of Bows & Sequins for probably over a year now. She has a great sense of style and exudes excitement for fashion and girly-girl fun through her blog. Plus, she’s super hilarious and types how she thinks which makes me literally laugh out loud.
A blogger inspired post was just the thing to get me back into my little window studio. (Will share pics later of my new space once it’s completely set up!) I love a great fashion find for a bargain and Jessica narrates the story of her super steal on this beautiful Valentino dress. Be sure to head on over to her blog and read this post. Thanks, Jessica for being an inspiration!
