Taryn Multack of the fabulous nail art blog Miss Ladyfinger is such an inspiration for me. A couple years back, she left her day job (just in time for fashion week) and took a leap of faith to pursue her nail art career full time.

Happy October! I know I’m late to ring in the new month… nearly a half month late, yikes! My fashion design day job has literally taken over my life the past couple weeks and I just now had a moment to decompress from the stress and sketch some pretty things!

Fall is in the air in NYC… it was so cool last week you could feel the seasons changing! That’s not to say we won’t have a few warm days next week but it’s enough to get me excited about dressing for fall.

Lucky magazine editor-in-chief Eva Chen had to be the most adorable mom-to-be hitting the streets at NYFW. If you already follow her on Instagram, you’re probably familiar with the daily shoe in cab posts… how clever and fun! When I saw this look pop up on my Instagram feed, she was so chic with her cute baby bump, I just had to sketch! And since she’s a such a shopaholic, I thought a Bergdorf bag couldn’t hurt =)
