Happy May, everyone! I know it’s been awhile, but what better way to start off the new month with a spring-like wishlist for the impending warm weather. I’ve never actually owned a romper but this one is just so cute with a barely there floral print. Pair that with of-the-moment gladiator sandals, a pastel pink bag and you’re good to go!

City Flowers…
I can’t stop instagramming all the gorgeous flowers that are finally starting to bloom! This is one of the best times to be in the city… the air is fresh, the windows are open, and you can pretty much wear what ever you want because it’s the perfect in-between temperature. Life is good…

I came across Ashley Ording’s adorable blog, Fancy Fine, and am totally in love with her quirky vintage style! All of her posts are refreshingly original… I’m especially enamored with this outfit. She nearly has me running to Anthropologie to scoop up the look!
Have a happy Friday! =)

I took lessons from age four up until I went away for college and even though I haven’t danced in five years, ballet continues to stay with me. My undergraduate visual art thesis featured fragmented, charcoal and pastel renderings of ballerinas in motion. Looking back at my drawings from senior year made me want to start dancing again.
Some of the sketches above eventually became a part of my thesis. A few were rough, quick, sketches but most them were more refined. One thing’s for sure, I really miss having unlimited time to draw just for drawing’s sake…
