Today is the day! A collection of 16 one-of-a-kind, hand painted ceramic bisque eggs and 4 beautiful bunnies are arriving in the shop TODAY, March 7th at 11:00am ET! It brings me great joy to finally share this collection of original artwork with you. From delicate vines and ruffles to pretty bows and roses, this collection of decorative artwork is truly a labor of love. It is overflowing with spring color and joy, ready to welcome a change in the seasons! 

I’m thrilled to share my capsule collection with Protect My Shoes! Olivia reached out months ago after purchasing some of my shoe stickers and asked if I would dream up a beautiful pattern that could be featured on her signature shoe cushions and shoe bags. Of course I enthusiastically said yes and got to work designing a grandmillennial inspired pattern featuring English roses from my garden, pretty pink bows, and the sparkliest heels. I am absolutely thrilled to share that my debut collection of textiles and wallpaper featuring my hand-painted watercolor designs are now available to shop on Spoonflower! This project has been a wonderful exploration into the world of surface pattern design and has given me the opportunity to stretch my creativity while learning new ways of bringing my art into the world. 

In celebration of my illustration membership The Bountiful Artist re-opening to welcome new members in March, I’m thrilled to offer weekly FREE live online Community Art Classes again this year! Starting Sunday, February 19th at 1:00pm EST, I’ll be hosting a one hour illustration lesson each week using brush markers LIVE on Zoom and it’s completely free! A materials list will be sent out ahead of each lesson so you can purchase the exact supplies I’ll be using if you’d like to, but feel free to gather whatever art supplies you have on hand and make the most of them too! We’ll be sketching fun and happy subjects like flowers, shoes, sweet treats, and more.

I have some news… we bought a house and we’re moving to New Jersey! Even as I type those words, it doesn’t feel real. We closed this past Thursday and we’re moving in 9 days!! 🤯 I’ve been dying to share this news with you, but we had to keep things under wraps until it was official. And in this crazy housing market, at every turn it felt like things could fall apart. But finally, after seven months of serious searching, everything lined up and we found a house! It feels like the perfect fit for us right now and I can’t wait to get settled in our new space. I’ll share more pictures soon but here’s a peek at our new kitchen…
