I’ve been able to catch up on my favorite blogs over the past couple of days and I came across this outfit on Blair. She couldn’t be a more perfect inspiration for my first blogger inspired post of 2015. I’m not a blanket cape kind of person but she sure makes me want to be! This fact was further solidified when I saw a super chic girl in a blanket cape while shopping at the Container Store yesterday. So it’s been decided. I need a blanket cape.

How fabulous are these leopard booties? Whenever I see an amazingly unattainable pair of shoes (sky high, super chic, crazy expensive, alter ego-esque), I covet them not for the purpose of wanting to actually wear them, but just to have them and look at them. I want to collect them and admire them all in a row… sort of like Jenna Lyons… shiny ponies she calls them. I totally relate.
Since these are waaaay too expensive to buy and just leave on a shelf, it was much more affordable to turn them into a print. Now available in the shop =)

Miss Ladyfinger X Joanna Baker…
This lovely lady is a very talented friend and former co-worker… and it’s about time I turned her into a fashion sketch! Taryn Multack of the fabulous nail art blog Miss Ladyfinger is such an inspiration for me. A couple years back, she left her day job (just in time for fashion week) and took a leap of faith to pursue her nail art career full time.
