Beach Bound…

I’m so excited because as I type this we on en route to the beach! It’s just for the day but that’s one of the best things about living on an island… the ocean isn’t too far away! I got up early this morning and started sketching a summertime beach wishlist. Loving these bright colors!

Wednesday Wishlist…

Happy October! I was almost ready to put away my sandals and sundresses until we had two 80+ degree days in a row… complete craziness for the beginning of October. But that doesn’t stop me from wishing for fall things!

I’ve been looking all over for the perfect military inspired jacket… not too masculine, not too heavy. This one from Madewell is super cute. Pair that with a happy blue dress, wedge booties, and a patent belt… you’ll be all dressed up and ready for fall! Here’s to a slightly chillier rest of the month =)

Instagram Weekend…

Happy April! I wanted to share some fun things from the past week… especially window shopping at Bendel’s after delicious Easter tea and scones at Alice’s Teacup.

I’m already pining for next weekend and the weather in NYC is supposed to be gorgeous! It’s the first official weekend for the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene and I can hardly wait! Fancy chairs here I come =)

Wednesday Wishlist…

It’s been awhile since I’ve even wanted to shop… the chilly weather and dreary skies have kept me from thinking about potential updates to my spring wardrobe. But alas… no matter how cold it was outside today, it’s the first official day of spring! This should be celebrated with a cute skirt, striped top, and fresh new sandals for the season. Happy Wednesday!

Candy Coat…

I saw this girl on my way to work today and in a sea of head-to-toe black, I couldn’t help but notice her vibrant winter coat. She was bundled up but looked so adorable in a patterned hat and tights…

The weather in NYC has been so wacky recently! We’ve had negative wind chills, spring-like afternoons, snow, sleet, rain, and sunshine all in a matter of a few weeks… which makes it a bit difficult to get dressed in the morning. Here’s to looking chic when the wind is fierce and it’s barely 10 degrees!
