Painting these little jewels is one of the creative highlights of my year. This is the third year of hand-painting ceramic bisque eggs to celebrate the spring season and I’m delighted to share a bit more about how this year’s collection came to be… I’ve been on a bit of a vintage plate kick as of late and have loved incorporating plates as artwork in our home. In celebration of my illustration membership The Bountiful Artist re-opening to welcome new members in March, I’m thrilled to offer weekly FREE live online Community Art Classes again this year! Starting Sunday, February 19th at 1:00pm EST, I’ll be hosting a one hour illustration lesson each week using brush markers LIVE on Zoom and it’s completely free! A materials list will be sent out ahead of each lesson so you can purchase the exact supplies I’ll be using if you’d like to, but feel free to gather whatever art supplies you have on hand and make the most of them too! We’ll be sketching fun and happy subjects like flowers, shoes, sweet treats, and more.
All skill levels are welcome to join!
If you participated in Community Art Class last year and didn’t unsubscribe from the mailing list, then you’re all set! But if you are joining us for the first time, be sure to subscribe to the exclusive class mailing list so you get a sneak peek of what we’ll be sketching each week along with the Zoom links, materials lists, and class replays delivered to your inbox.
I can’t wait to see you in class!

My Mom has kept hers displayed on the nightstand since she received it so she can see it every morning. 🥰

And in this crazy housing market, at every turn it felt like things could fall apart. But finally, after seven months of serious searching, everything lined up and we found a house! It feels like the perfect fit for us right now and I can’t wait to get settled in our new space. I’ll share more pictures soon but here’s a peek at our new kitchen…
