Happy Sunday lovelies!! I wanted to share with you a recap of my Met Gala red carpet sketches that I did as the stars arrived on the red carpet. It’s such a fun night to sketch in real time on Insta Stories (@JoannaBaker) and Snapchat (@JoannaLBaker) and share the process with you!

There were so many beautiful gowns and looks from that night that I could honestly keep sketching. Too many dresses, so little time! Which ones were your favorites??

There really isn’t any event quite like the Met Ball, the fashion really is levels above most of the looks during award show season.
I hope you have a great week coming up! This week I plan on starting work on the Favorite Things 2018 calendar. It’s a long process with so many illustrations to draw but I am excited to get working =)
