Yay! After two weeks of working, working, working on my website and blog I can finally say that the transition is complete. While I liked my old site, it was definitely time for a fresh new take on things. Lately I’ve been obsessed with gold and spots so I thought I’d put the two together for an updated look. It’s more spacious and a tad cleaner than my old layout which I love… more space to share bigger photos! =)

Happy February…
A new month! This week marks my third official week since leaving my full time job. Over the first week and a half, I was getting into a great little groove, finding a new daily routine, working on projects, discovering podcasts (Stuff You Should Know = Amazing.) Life was grand… then I got caught off guard with a yucky cold last week. It’s finally here! We’re about to travel south to visit with family and friends for Christmas and I couldn’t be more ready for a break. I’m very excited to ring in the new year with some exciting news that I can’t wait to share with you all. Safe travels for a happy holiday and I will be back in 2015 with new sketches, posts, and the big reveal. Thanks for staying with me! =)

Mary Seng of Happily Grey is the queen of cozy chic… when I see her pop up in my Instagram feed, I wish for her wardrobe of comfy, oversized chunky knits, fabulous bags, and effortlessly laid-back-yet-pulled-together looks. I mean even her pup, Allie knows how to take it easy. =)

How fabulous are these leopard booties? Whenever I see an amazingly unattainable pair of shoes (sky high, super chic, crazy expensive, alter ego-esque), I covet them not for the purpose of wanting to actually wear them, but just to have them and look at them. I want to collect them and admire them all in a row… sort of like Jenna Lyons… shiny ponies she calls them. I totally relate.
Since these are waaaay too expensive to buy and just leave on a shelf, it was much more affordable to turn them into a print. Now available in the shop =)
