It’s been awhile since I’ve even wanted to shop… the chilly weather and dreary skies have kept me from thinking about potential updates to my spring wardrobe. But alas… no matter how cold it was outside today, it’s the first official day of spring! This should be celebrated with a cute skirt, striped top, and fresh new sandals for the season. Did you watch the Oscars on Sunday night? The show seemed to last forever… and I only half paid attention because I was busy drawing pretty dresses! Metallics were definitely a theme and Naomi Watts’ dress was absolutely stunning. Jessica Chastain looked glamourous and I can never say no to an Oscar de la Renta confection!
I saw this girl on my way to work today and in a sea of head-to-toe black, I couldn’t help but notice her vibrant winter coat. She was bundled up but looked so adorable in a patterned hat and tights…
The weather in NYC has been so wacky recently! We’ve had negative wind chills, spring-like afternoons, snow, sleet, rain, and sunshine all in a matter of a few weeks… which makes it a bit difficult to get dressed in the morning. Here’s to looking chic when the wind is fierce and it’s barely 10 degrees!
