There is a seriously chic ice cream sandwich waiting for you at Francois Payard Patisserie. Glorious sorbet is wedged between two french macaron layers… uh-mazing. The coconut mango was my favorite. If you’re in need of a sophisticated treat on a hot summer day, Payard does not disappoint!

This past week has been busy, but I wanted to share with you a recent project I worked on for the lovely Jen of Red Soles & Red Wine. The sketch was inspired by a picture of her and her sister who both co-own a jewelry business, T&J Designs. Jen was so easy to work with and I’m thrilled that they love the final outcome!

Happy Saturday! I’ve decided to start drawing a collection of my favorite things and what better way to begin than with my favorite cake. Behold the Icebox Cake from Billy’s Bakery. This thing is absolutely perfect… it’s not too heavy, not too sweet, and has just the right amount of chocolate-y goodness.
