Couture weeks are some of my favorite weeks of the year… the most amazing sketch inspiration is seemingly endless and I always have to illustrate my favorite looks!
Usually I’ll wake up early to watch the shows live stream from Paris but I just couldn’t get it together this time around. We were traveling over the holiday weekend and there was a bunch to catch up on when I got back. But luckily, Vogue does a fabulous job of documenting all the pretty details! My favorites for gorgeous gowns are always Giambattista Valli, Elie Saab, Ralph & Russo and Zuhair Murad. Here are close ups of my sketches along with their inspiration photos:
