Sometimes after a long day at work, I don’t want to think about what I “should” draw when I sit down in my corner studio. I’ve decided that for a little while at least I’m just going to draw happy things even if they don’t really have anything to do with, well, anything. Recently I’ve been thinking about flamingos… maybe with the heat and humidity hitting near tropical levels here in NYC!

So here’s a happy flamingo. They really are pretty creatures. Odd, but pretty. Not unlike little fashion models… long necks, long legs, and fabulous pink feathers! Here’s to thinking happy things!
