It’s officially fall, my favorite season!! I have so many favorite things about fall. My first job growing up was actually working at an orchard so apple picking season brings back so many happy memories =) Last weekend we drove upstate to an orchard to get apples, pie, and cider. We plan on going back soon to pick apples and pumpkins and eat our weight in apple cider donuts! Soooooo good =)

Wishing for Fall…
New York Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow and although fall clothes and sales are everywhere, New York is definitely still in a summer state of mind! It may be ninety degrees outside but that’s not stopping my day dreams of oversized coats, cozy scarves and the cutest red booties for the season. This tee adds the perfect touch of metallic and I’m in desperate need of some new Hunter wellies!
I’m excited to be able to attend a few events for fashion week while I work through commissions and keep up on the latest fabulous things strutting down the runways. Spot Sighting…
How fabulous are these leopard booties? Whenever I see an amazingly unattainable pair of shoes (sky high, super chic, crazy expensive, alter ego-esque), I covet them not for the purpose of wanting to actually wear them, but just to have them and look at them. I want to collect them and admire them all in a row… sort of like Jenna Lyons… shiny ponies she calls them. I totally relate.
Since these are waaaay too expensive to buy and just leave on a shelf, it was much more affordable to turn them into a print. Now available in the shop =)

Fall is in the air in NYC… it was so cool last week you could feel the seasons changing! That’s not to say we won’t have a few warm days next week but it’s enough to get me excited about dressing for fall.
